Coming Soon: Edward E. Boccia: An American Modernist at Philip Slein Gallery
The Edward E. Boccia Artist Trust is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition Edward E. Boccia: An American Modernist, opening October 23, 2026, at Philip Slein Gallery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Curated by Rosa Berland in collaboration with Philip Slein Gallery, the exhibition will bring together more than thirty paintings spanning over five decades of Boccia’s distinguished career. Drawn primarily from the Edward E. Boccia Artist Trust, the exhibition will feature major paintings, never-before-exhibited works, and several of the monumental multi-panel compositions for which the artist is best known.
The exhibition coincides with the publication of Edward E. Boccia: Painter of Nightmares and Dreams (Hirmer Publishers), the first major scholarly monograph devoted to the artist. Together, the exhibition and publication mark an important milestone in the continuing scholarship and public appreciation of Boccia’s work.
The exhibition will remain on view through April 23, 2027.
